So, to celebrate reaching the 300 followers mark over at tumblr, here's a mixed bag of sims. TS3 sims hopefully soon too follow. :D

Oh, and before I forget, I didn't do CC-versions this time because it's honestly too time-consuming for me (yes, I'm lazy :P)





This is Blondie. You see, her mother always wished for a blond girl but obviously she didn’t get one. Now Blondie is kinda stuck with lots of dumb comments about her hair colour. She dyed it once but of course, that didn’t change the fact that Blondie is a bit of a stupid name (still better than Brownie, though). So, most of the time she just goes by Griselda if she meets new people until she can get her name changed officially.

"OMG! U r soo meen!!1!" is what Soledad hears most often. Mainly because she just can't keep her mouth shut when it would be better to say nothing. Silence is golden, think before you speak - all things that are way overrated if you ask Soledad.

This is Joan. Who she is, where she came from, no one really knows. One day she just appeared on Dale Pellegrino’s (the local politics teacher) doorstep claiming to be his long lost wife, even though being obviously much younger and looking nothing like her. He let her stay hoping she might know something about his wife’s mysterious disappearance.

Otto and Robert are the bestest best friends forever and ever. They're basically like Siamese twins which is why both of them seem to have trouble to find a girlfriend.

Joshua Franco owns a small tattoo studio which is going rather well considering he’s not doing any real tattoos. Being more or less averse to pain, Joshua caters to the like-minded by selling stick-on tattoos.
He’d like to start a family one day but so far, it’s been a bit difficult to find a woman who can take him seriously after hearing about his occupation.

I actually made Julius a while ago for the GoS Sim Challenge but never got around to take pictures of him until now. I believe he was inspired by the prompt ‘duke’ which somehow reminded me of a Mighty Boosh quote which then turned into something completely different.

Hi! I think I've asked you this before, but it's been so long that I don't remember what you told me :0 So I'm asking again, sorry to bother you ^^''

First, is what program do you use to extract your sims, and what you do to extract with and without CC? And also how do you get the list of CC you show to us.

Second, and this I've never asked anyone but I figured you would know :D Sorry if you don't: With the notownieregen mod... how do we do it so it will only affect ONE neighbourhood? I'm about to start a BACC and have no clue if this will affect ALL the neighbourhoods or what.

Sorry to ask you, but you have answered some other questions of mine in the past and I thought I would try asking you (since other simmers don't really like being asked questions)

Okay...
I usuallly make all of my sims in Bodyshop and package them from there (for the CC-less versions I just clone the sim, strip it from all CC and package it again). For sims that are born in-game I use SimPE to extract them. There's a tutorial for that somewhere.
Also, the CC list is just a screenshot from CleanInstaller.

I'm not sure if I understand you right but the notownieregen mod doesn't work retroactively. It just stops the game from spawning unnecessary townies (for example, when one of them dies, the game doesn't generate a replacement, except for the NPCs like the mailman, of course). So, there should be no change to the sims in your existing neighbourhoods. Not even installing empty neighbourhood templates should change anything in the exisiting neighbourhoods.
But if in doubt, making back-ups of everything is never a bad idea :)

Ahh I see. So to start the BACC, would I need another mod to get rid of all townies, besides the notownieregen? :o I didn't really understand this bit of info from the build a city community:

"Create a new, empty neighbourhood, using empty neighbourhoodtemplates and Pescado's anti-regen mods such as NoTownieRegen and AntiRedundancy. No townies or other Sims apart from those automatically generated should be made. The only Sims present in the neighbourhood should be your founder and his friends.".

I know I should ask them but they seem quite inactive D: So sorry to bother you! And if you don't know it's ok, you've helped me a whole lot already! :3

Hm, do you use empty neighbourhood templates? If not, you might want to install them to be sure there are absolutely no sims generated when you create the neighbourhood. Simgaroop has a pretty in-depth post about them here which explains everything a lot better than I could. They can be a bit annoying to install under Windows 7, though.
