Sooo, it feels like I haven't played Sims in ages (which is not completely true) and lately I'm just not that interested, even though I installed Bon Voyage and Apartment Life. Mainly because of Dragon Age (and a little bit because of Mass Effect) which is also why the comments in my inbox here and on livejournal are piling up. Sorry for that.
Also, DA-related: am I the only one who found the whole thing with Morrigan at the end highly unsatisfying? I really wanted to know what happened to her afterwards :C
But enough of that, I'm here to spam some pictures of what I did the last time I opened my game.
I downloaded mocha's awesome 1111 Prospect Street apartments and maxis-match'd them. There's going to be four installments to show you the made-over apartments and their inhabitants.

So, lately I've been playing Sims 3 but my save game with the epic story about a gold digger got borked when I was at the point where the family basically owned the town and that's why I started a new one. Well, it's not really a story or a legacy or anything. Just pic spam of my surprisingly boring looking Sims 3 game, I guess.

And this house has like two rooms. Well, three if you count upstairs as its own room. Most of the time I'm so lazy that I only build a bath room and the rest is just one big room. Open plan to the max :D

Jul. 31st, 2011 08:39 pmThanks to the latest weekly challenge, my legacy family got a new house. I always complained about how ridiciously wealthy they got and when I demolished their old house, they had about 100,000 simoleons. And it's just the second generation :O
Well, I spent all their money on the new house and that wasn't enough, so it's not really finished (and no loans for them because they'll need to borrow money for the bills)

Lately I've been taking lots of pictures of my game but I don't feel like posting them because I don't think they're good enough to show. That's a kind of perfectionism that's really bugging me. It's the same problem that stopped me almost a year from drawing anything. The longer I look at the things I made, the more I dislike them. Nothing is ever good enough. It's a very counterproductive mindset, so to get out of it I'll post some pictures anyway :)
I gave Hans' Trap Door Corp a makeover (well, it's still a WIP, kind of). Oh boy, was that lot disappointing! So. Many. Unused. Floors. Why Maxis? Just why? 8C

Well, anyway, I finally started replacing the previews for the downloads. I didn't replace much, though because I deleted most of the pictures from my computer and I can't download the rest from Photobucket >:C
Anyway, looking through the pictures from last year was quite interesting and I wondered what my old sims would look in MM. So, I took Ursula and Genghis who I made for past Sim challenges and gave them a makeover.
