So, let me show you what a starter home made by Backerbse looks like. This time I didn't forget the bath, no, I forgot the kitchen, that's why it's very small <.<
And this house has like two rooms. Well, three if you count upstairs as its own room. Most of the time I'm so lazy that I only build a bath room and the rest is just one big room. Open plan to the max :D



Moar huge windows!





Lots of wasted space because, really, who needs room for a nursery? :P









You even can enjoy the view from the bath room. And I overuse those tiles. They're in every bath in my game.


In other news, if I ever stop being lazy, you'll get a whole truckload of sims and possibly that makeover of Hans' Trapdoor Corp, too ;)

Well it isn't very practical without a kitchen (or nursery), but it's really cool looking! My starter homes are incredibly boring 95% of the time. And don't have cool views like this one.

I usually just download starters because I find them incredibly hard to build and decorate. 20,000 doesn't get you all that far.

I'd share but I have a legacy family currently living there and they already ruined everything :C You could try to build one yourself, though. It's a pretty simple floorplan ;)

Is it weird that I like the view of the bathroom from the window rather than the view out the window from the bathroom?

Not really. I think the view from the window is generally the better one because the other has an awkward angle. It's only included because I'm in love with the nice view :D

I'm not good at building, or an experienced simmer at experimenting so much with the game, and maybe this is a stupid question but, how did you get that view? :o

Also, I love the stove! Where did you get it?

You mean with the lighthouse and so on? That's just neighbourhood decoration. The lighthouse comes with Seasons, I believe and the boats are from MTS as far as I know.
