[Pics] Plattenbau Asylum - Week 1

backerbseHeya, instead of spamming GoS with my aslyum, I'm posting the whole first week here (well, I wanted to do that anyway :D)
It's a lot of pictures and my commentary probably isn't very good but hey, look at what big lots run perfectly in my MM 'hood!
Pleasantview doesn't have the money to build a real asylum at the moment, so until then the few inmates have to live in a flat in this nice apartment complex. Well, meet the inmates...
Mordora, a Popularity sim who aspires to be Mayor has been sent there to look after the inmates.
Annabelle worked at the Pleasantview Burger Jungle once but standing in the sun all day wearing a gorilla costume didn't do her any good. She's a Pleasure sim.
Baudelaire or Funky Frankenstein used to be a normal citizen until a terrible accident made him what he is now: a love machine from the past! He's (of course) a Romance sim.
Cassetta hates everyone. She was sent to the asylum after trying to stare Goopy to death in the local grocery store. Her aspiration is Pleasure.
Doctor Dread is a mad scientist who's also half-android. Of course, he's only in the asylum to observe the other patients ;D
He's a Knowledge sim.
Nobody knows where Kürbiskopf came from and nobody ever saw his face. He just appeared one day in the Pleasant's front garden digging for gold. He's a Fortune sim.
Madame Corbeau or the crazy birdlady as her neighbours used to call her, is a medium and also a Family sim. Is it a lame joke if I say she has some birds in the belfry?
Ulu-Mulu decided to spend his retirement in Pleasantview but he had a few problems breaking old Pollination Technician habits. He's a Family sim, too.
Can you feel the love between these two? Not really? Apparently, there is something going on between them.
Happy, lovey-dovey people blocking the toilet. What a great start!
Probably the most sane persons in the asylum...
...but I see a pattern forming here.
The stupidity knows no boundaries.
I told you there was something going on between them. Also, Baudelaire has a creepy woohoo face.
"Oh my God, aliens with bad hygiene are so hot!"
Did I say I think she's quite sane? I might take that back D:
Ulu-Mulu started the first fire, yay!
And this is what goes on in the next room. Doctor Dread enjoying a nice conversation with Mortimer Goth and Herb Oldie. Yeah, and he can also totally see what's going on in the kitchen. Some people just don't give a fuck.
Along with Ulu-Mulu Kürbiskopf is probably the most useless inmate. I think he never really recovered from this aspiration failure.
That looks like it hurts.
Meanwhile, Kürbiskopf falls asleep right in front the tub. I think that was intentional.
For some reason people started peeing themselves. Cassetta woke up every few minutes to complain about her full bladder and then going straight back to bed. Going to the toilet would be an absolutely crazy idea, you know...
...and look, how peaceful she sleeps now.
Ulu-Mulu didn't find his way to the bathroom either. Not sure why he felt the need to tell Madame Corbeau about this. Especially since she's the one who mops up all the pee.
Hey, he's still there!
Annabelle's smell brought him back to life, though.
Showering is sooo overrated.
Gosh, he's totally trying to read your diary! Also, how big do sims write if they're afraid someone could read it at that distance? Or do they just have a very good vision?
Mordora had to work as a mascot, by the way. The career she needed never seemed to come up in the paper. I liked the costume, though.
That's what you get if you tell Madame Corbeau you were the one who peed next to the dining table.

Everyone gather 'round! Mordora gets electrocuted!
Why do they keep doing this?

Madame Corbeau is unbelievable. It's like she's just waiting for people to pee themselves.
Ew, trash! Guess who put left it there. Guess who!
Right, it was Madame "I'm the only one cleaning here" Corbeau.
Cassetta's farts can make people unconscious. Luckily, Doctor Dread has a gasmask ;D
Hm, what's that? There are roaches and everyone has the flu? Good job! (I admit I cheated and made them healthy again)
More fires and Mordora is at work and not coming home any time soon. So, who calls the fire station?
Also, notice that there are perfectly fine sandwiches on the counter.
Cassetta and Kürbiskopf are burning, it's the best time to take a little nap, right?
(You know, I totally forgot that those ceiling tiles for people without AL can burn. Oops! ^^")
When Mordora finally came from work, it was too late for two of her inmates. She will never make it to the top of her career before anyone dies.

...disappointing me.
"Hey, just wanted to tell you the roaches are...
...you don't mind me watching for a while, do you?"
Then the hauntings started and Doctor Dread, being a Knowledge sim, is the only one who thinks this is great.

...Mordora couldn't save her and Baudelaire probably didn't even notice yet that the love of his life is gone.
Kürbiskopf kills more people...
...while Cassetta fails at it. Well, she obviously doesn't look as frightening as Kürbiskopf.
Apart from everyone dying, there's also more love. However that works...
Though, I don't know when these two became friends. They hardly spoke with each other O.o
And at the end of the week, Doctor Dread only has a flying pig to keep him company.
I guess, there will be one more update and then I proabably managed to kill off the remaining inmates. I'd never thought that playing without cheats is that hard :C

Haha, yeah, normally my sims are under the influence of maxmotives, so all they do is clean. This asylum shows how much I fail without cheats XD
